AbstractThe methods of the surface tension measurement using the pendant or sessile drop profile are well known for their reliability and universality. The method procedures are well established but still require high quality drop images to measure the surface tension automatically, what may be the problem in difficult experimental conditions. In this paper, the highly automated methods of surface tension and dynamic contact angle measurement are presented. The usage of image processing techniques allows processing of images of different quality, acquired e.g. at high temperatures.
